It's official: I have been ill this entire term. How depressing is that? I went home at lunch yesterday and then at break today, having not even been to my first lesson 'cause I kept having to run to the toilets thinking I was gonna spew. This was not pleasant.
Then when I came home I had to face the agony of making chocolate cake whilst feeling sick, because I promised my French class I would. However, on the plus side, sitting down all day has made me feel much better =D
I have realised that this LJ is turning into a bit of a Growlery (cf Bleak House hehe) so I would like to make it clear that my life since my last post has not been entirely without amusement.
Eleanor: Don't move this piece of fluff from the table, it's very important.
(She's an artist, we don't question.)
Mr Browning: The sun's out, I feel like upsetting a few people today.
Ah, government and politics. That endless stream of random information that is apparently supposed to come together coherently into a 3-hour exam in which we have to write 6 essays...I'm screwed! Never mind, the exam's not 'til June 6, that gives me plenty of time to make exciting mind maps. (Yey! Mind maps!)
Have also just received a catalogue from The Book People. Can see myself going broke in the very near future as a result.
Was also highly amused by the letter to the editor in the Times today written (and published) in French, from an incensed Canadian having a rant about some politician speaking English instead of French. Ah, angry Frenchmen. (Well okay he was Canadian but they all fall under the same catagory when they're cross, don't they?) Hehehehehehehe. Silly Frenchmen. |
